Thesis Overview

An exploration and documentation of the process producing "chosen fallen", a feature length independent film.
Utilizing web technologies to communicate, produce, collect and archive data, and exchange media will be implemented. Inspired by the early Dadaist of the 1940's this venture will be the ultimate "happening" by ways of modern technologies that did not exist at that time such as DV capturing, nonlinear editing capabilities, and global participatory interactivity via the world wide web. The "chosen fallen" project will consist of three concentrations: Information Architecture of the physical / virtual relationship, the mergence of truth and fiction portrayed by acting participants, and the analysis of networks established online using public communities such as MySpace, FaceBook, and chosenfallen.com.



The film is a collaboration between artist, actor, producer, and director taking place currently in four locations; connecticut, New York, Tennessee, and Texas. Filming will take place this summer in San Antonio, Tx. The completion date for this project is fall 2008-spring 2009.
